Northeastern Results

Sorry these are late in getting posted.

Recap came from the Northeastern website as well as reports from Rick Freniere. Click below to read on.

The men's team traveled to Boston this past weekend to have a scrimmage with the Huskies. From the Northeastern athletics website:

The Northeastern men’s crew defeated Holy Cross in a scrimmage over the 2,000-meter Charles River course on Saturday, May 7. The Huskies were down two seats at 500 but pulled even at 750 and by 1,500 had a length lead. They picked up another length and a half over the final 500 to finish at 6:16.6 to the Crusaders' 6:28.4.
Northeastern’s vaunted freshman boat, which is seeded fourth in the Eastern Sprint poll, flew down the course in 6:14.4 to win by over five lengths.
Next weekend the Huskies will be in action at the prestigious Eastern Sprints at Regatta Point on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass.
