The Friends of Holy Cross Rowing was created to assist the team financially and foster connections between current athletes, alumni and friends of the program.
Fundraising: The organization will raise budget enhancing dollars to supplement staff salaries, boost the recruiting budget and give coaches access to financial resources outside the annual athletic department budget. The FHCR will endeavor to provide the team with the funds needed to succeed at an elite level.
Fellowship: The group will create opportunities to bring alumni, donors and friends of the team together in support of the program. The FHCR will share periodic updates on the team’s activities and plan annual gatherings.
Awareness: The organization will raise awareness of the program in the rowing and Holy Cross communities thru social media and events.
Mentoring: The Friends will facilitate professional opportunities for rowers and foster connections with alumni in their career field of interest.
